Now you can create policies on advance requests raised by employees in your organization. The advance request policies can be created based on multiple user properties, and limits can be configured in multiple ways as well.
To create an Advance Request Policy, navigate to the organizational settings page and click on the ADVANCES tab. Now click on the POLICIES tab and then on ADD NEW POLICY.
For creating an Advance Request policy, the below fields are required to be filled:
Policy Description - A brief description of the advance request policy. For E.g: “Seattle Location Employees cannot claim more than 15000 USD as advance request.
Policy Employee Property: This allows you to choose who will be affected by the actions of this policy. User details like Levels, Departments, Titles, bands, Business Units, and Custom Fields can be selected here.
Policy Conditions - Under policy conditions, you have the ability to define:
projects against which advances issued have to be covered under the policy,
amount limit type (Individual, Monthly, Yearly), to define how the limit should be defined,
number of advance requests allowed per month and,
any custom fields pertaining to your organization.
Policy Actions - When the advance request policy is violated, the below actions can be configured:
Flag Advance Request - The advance request will be flagged internally on submission to the finance team if enabled.
Pop Up on violation - If enabled, there will be a pop up notifying the user that there is a policy violation on the Advance Request. It will also allow them to state their reason.
Assign Additional Approvers - Here, you can add secondary approver, project approver, and department approver in case the advance request is not meant to be sent to the default approver of the user.
