Steps to map corporate credit cards in Fyle to specific charge card accounts in Sage Intacct in Fyle-Sage Intacct Integration

By default, all the corporate credit card expenses from Fyle exported as Bill, Journal Entry, Expense Report and Charge Card Transaction in Sage Intacct are coded to a default credit card account in Sage Intacct selected under General Mappings > Default Charge Card within the integration as shown below.

However, coding expenses to only one default credit card account would not help if your organization uses multiple credit cards. In this case, mapping credit cards in Fyle to their respective credit card account in Sage Intacct is a recommended solution and would also make your reconciliation in Sage Intacct easier.

Note: To be able to make use of this functionality, you should be exporting your Corporate Credit Card expenses as Charge Card Transactions.

Below are the steps to map Credit Cards in Fyle to their respective Charge Card Accounts in Sage Intacct

Mapping Credit Cards in Fyle to Charge Card Accounts in Sage Intacct

To start mapping your corporate credit cards, head to the Corporate Card Mappings section in the integration and click on Create New Corporate Card Mapping.

Now search and select a Corporate Card from Fyle and map it to its corresponding Sage Intacct Charge Card record and Save.

Based on the mapping established, every corporate credit card expense will be exported to its respective charge card account from Fyle to Sage Intacct.

Note for users who had mapped their cards in the old Employee Mappings section

Earlier, Credit Cards in Fyle were mapped to Employees/Vendors in Sage Intacct. This way, admins were able to map only one card per Employee/Vendor. This has been improved by allowing admins to map cards in Fyle to their respective cards in Sage Intacct. Employees will now be able to file expenses from several cards, and each expense will be coded to its corresponding charge card in Sage Intacct according to the card mapping.

You will no longer be able to access the Card-to-Employee mapping that you had previously set up in the integration. However, your mappings are still preserved on the backend, and the expenses will be processed using those mappings. You can change any of the outdated mappings if you'd like to by creating a new mapping in the 'Corporate Card Mapping' section as explained in this article.
