When are text messages sent?
Text messages are sent:
Twice a week – on Tuesdays and Fridays
Between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM in the user’s local time zone
Only if new American Express transactions were posted after the last message
Only if there are incomplete expenses from those new transactions
Who receives these messages?
A user will receive these messages only if:
They’ve added an American Express card in Sage Expense Management
They’ve opted in to receive text messages in their Preferences
What does the message say?
Users will receive the following message:
Hi, it's Sage Expense Management! You have incomplete American Express expense(s). Please use the mobile or web app to complete them.
What to do after receiving the message?
Open the Sage Expense Management mobile or web app → Go to Expenses → Review and complete the expense(s).
Notes
Each user will receive at most one message per day, even if multiple transactions are posted.
This feature is only available for American Express cards.
