Can I share expense reports via email?

Expense reports can be easily shared via email. The shared expense reports can be sent in a PDF, Excel, or CSV format for easy download to your computer.

To share your expense reports, follow the steps mentioned below:

In the Reports section, select the report you wish to share and click on it.

From the View Report page that opens, click on the three-dots button on the left-hand side of your screen. Select Share from the drop-down menu that appears.

A pop-up box will appear, type in the email ID to which the report has to be shared. You can choose to share the report with or without the receipts attached to it.

Once you have entered the required details, click on the Share Report button.

The report will be sent to the entered email ID from Team Fyle.

In case you do not receive the email, kindly check your Junk/Spam folders as it might have been redirected there.

In order to download the report, open the email and click on the Download button. Your download will begin automatically.

You can also share your expense report in Excel or CSV format. To do so, select the required report using the checkbox and click on Export.

In the pop-up box that appears, select your export type. Toggle the Share export option to Yes and enter the required email ID.

Once you have filled in the details click on the Next button.

You can customize the columns to be included or excluded from the report for the download using the checkboxes.

If you wish to customize the report further, click on the Advanced Settings button.

Under advanced settings, you can modify:

  • The date format: The formats you can choose from include DD/MM/YYY, MM/DD/YYYY, and YYYY/MM/DD.

  • Entry format: You can choose if you would like column headers or double-line entries. Hover your mouse over Sample Preview to see a sample of how the entry would look like.

  • Columns: You can customize your column header, type, and source as per your preference.

Once the required customizations have been selected, click on the Export button. The file will be sent to you via email on the email ID you have entered.

Following the steps mentioned, you can easily share your expense reports to any email ID and download them to your computer.
