Introduction
As an admin, you can customise the available options for employees while coding different fields on their expenses. For example, you can restrict the list of projects each employee can choose from while coding their expenses.

Manage allowed categories for employees
You can enable restrictions to allow each employee to use different lists of categories for their expenses. For example, you can restrict John to be able to use categories Airlines, Per Diem and Office Supplies for his expenses, and Ginny to use categories Office Supplies, Accounting Software and Food for her expenses. To configure the allowed categories for each employee:
Step 1: Enable category based restrictions in your organization
Restrictions on categories is an optional feature in Fyle. Unless enabled, all categories in your Fyle account are available for all employees.
To enable this restriction,
Go to Admin Settings > Organization > Categories.
Enable Restrict employees to their own categories toggle.

Step 2: Choose the allowed categories for each employee
Once the restriction is enabled, you have to select the allowed categories for each employee. To do so:
Go to Admin Settings > Employees > Manage Employees.
For each employee, select the allowed categories under the Allowed Categories section.
Click on Save to confirm the selection. The employee will now be able to see only the allowed categories while coding their expenses.

Manage allowed projects for employees
You can enable restrictions to allow each employee to use different lists of projects for their expenses. For example, you can restrict John to be able to use Project A, B and C for his expenses, and Ginny to use Project B, C and D for her expenses.. To configure the allowed projects for each employee:

Restrictions on projects is an optional feature in Fyle. Unless enabled, all projects in your Fyle account are available for all employees.
To enable this restriction,
Go to Admin Settings > Organization > Projects.
Enable Restrict employees to their own projects toggle.

Step 2: Choose the allowed projects for each employee

Go to Admin Settings > Employees > Manage Employees.
For each employee, select the allowed projects under the Allowed Projects section.

For example, you can restrict John to be able to use Cost Center New York and Long Island for his expenses, and Ginny to use Delaware, New York and Dallas for her expenses. To configure the allowed cost centers for each employee:

Restrictions on cost centers is an optional feature in Fyle. Unless enabled, all cost centers in your Fyle account are available for all employees.
To enable this restriction,
Go to Admin Settings > Organization > Cost Centers.
Enable Restrict employees to their own cost centers toggle.
