Setting up accounting integrations for multiple clients or entities can be time-consuming. With Fyle’s Clone Fyle-QuickBooks Online Integration Settings, accounting partners and multi-entity organizations can automate the onboarding process by replicating integration settings across multiple accounts—saving valuable time and effort.

What is Integration Clone Settings?

The Integration Clone Settings feature allows you to automatically copy integration settings from one QuickBooks Online account to another. Instead of configuring each account from scratch, you can replicate the settings from an existing account, reducing setup time from 10-15 minutes to just a few clicks.

Once you've successfully set up the integration for one account, the next time you configure it for a new account, the previous settings will be copied over automatically. This ensures consistency and speeds up the onboarding process.

How Does the Clone Settings Feature Work?

Once you’ve configured QuickBooks Online integration for your first account, follow these steps to quickly onboard a new account:

  1. Access the Integration

    • Go to Fyle Admin Settings > Integration > Accounting > QuickBooks Online.

    • The integration will open in a new tab and log you in automatically using your Fyle credentials.

  2. Connect QuickBooks Online

    • Select the QuickBooks Online entity you want to integrate.

  3. Automated 2-Step Onboarding

    • Instead of the usual 5-step process, you’ll be guided through a simplified 2-step setup.

    • All integration settings from the previous account will be automatically copied over.

  4. Review and Modify Settings

    • Fill in any account-specific details (e.g., default bank account).

    • Modify settings by enabling/disabling specific features.

    • Adjust import and mapping fields as needed.

  5. Optional: Reset and Start Fresh

    • If required, you can reset all configurations and set up the integration from scratch.

  6. Save and Launch

    • Click Save to finalize the integration setup.

With this feature, you can eliminate manual configuration and ensure a consistent and error-free setup for all your entities.
