Case 1: One mobile number associated across multiple organizations
When you have opted in to text messages with the same phone number across your organizations and have real-time feed enabled on your corporate cards present in both organizations, you will only receive text messages for your primary organization. Currently, text messaging for expense completion is only supported for card(s) connected to the users primary organization in a multi-org setup.
For example: Kate is a member of three organizations: Alpha Ltd Store 1, Alpha Ltd Store 2, and Alpha Ltd Store 3. Her primary organization is Alpha Ltd Store 1. She has linked a single phone number to all three organizations and has different corporate cards associated with each. When Kate makes transactions across these cards, she will only receive text messages related to the card linked to Alpha Ltd Store 1.
Case 2: Different mobile numbers associated with different organizations
If you’ve opted to use different phone numbers for each organization, the text messaging feature will function independently for each organization. This means you’ll receive transaction-related text messages on the respective phone numbers associated with each organization.
For example: Jen is a member of two organizations, Gamma LLC 1 and Gamma LLC 2., and has linked separate phone numbers to each. When Jen makes a transaction with the card present in Gamma LLC 1 she will receive the text message on the phone number associated with that org, and the same applies for the other orgs.

Q. If I am part of multiple orgs and send a receipt to my phone number to create an expense via text message, in which org will the expense be created?
A. The expense will be created in your primary organization only, as text messages work only for a user's primary org.
Q. I have different corporate cards associated across all my orgs. How does text messaging feature work here?
A. Even if you have different cards associated across all orgs, as long as you have only one phone number associated with all of them, you can use use text messaging only for your primary org.
Q. I am not part of a multiple org setup, but I have multiple corporate cards linked to my account. How does text messaging feature work here?
A. The text messaging feature will work seamlessly for you as well. You will receive transaction messages for all your linked corporate cards on the same phone number and can easily submit your receipts and expenses.
