Employee details can be exported from Fyle in Excel or CSV format. You can modify the export to your requirement. The exported files will be shared via email on your official email ID. You can even share the export to a different email ID.
Navigate to your admin settings by clicking on the gear icon next to your profile in the top right corner of your screen.
From the left-hand side panel, click on Employees. Select Manage Employees.
Using the checkboxes, select the required employee names. Click on Export from the top main bar above the list.
In the pop-up box that appears, select the format in which you would like the export. If you wish to share the export file to another email ID, toggle the Share Export to Yes and enter the email ID.
Click on the Next button to proceed.
Select the fields you would like to include in the export, using the checkboxes.
If you wish to customize your export further, click on Advanced Settings.
Under advanced settings you can customize the following:
File Type: The format of the export
Column date format: The format of the date (DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYY, YYYY/MM/DD)
Keep column headers in the export file: If the columns headers used in Fyle should be retained in the export
Double row entry: If each entry should have two rows so specific data can be entered in a different row.
NOTE: Hover your mouse over the Sample Preview text to see how the entry would look in the export file.
Customize Columns: The column header title, column type, column data source field and line entries can be customized.
Once you have made all required customizations, click on Export.
The export file will be sent to you on your official email ID.
NOTE: In case you do not receive the export email from Team Fyle, kindly allow a few minutes and check your Junk/Spam folders as the email may have been redirected there.
Following the steps mentioned above, you can easily export your employee details via email.
