Your Preferences page in Fyle allows you to customize your experience and control various settings related to notifications, features, and display options. This article explains how to manage your preferences.
Accessing preferences
Open Spender Settings: Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the Fyle web app.
Navigate to Preferences: Click Preferences in the left sidebar.
Preferences sections
Notifications: Choose which events trigger email notifications. Options include expense creation, report submission, approvals, reimbursements, and more. Select the checkbox for each event you want to be notified about.
Features: Enable or disable specific features based on your preferences. (like data extraction & expense auto-fill). Available options may vary depending on your organization's Fyle plan.
Default currency: Set your preferred currency for creating expenses. This helps streamline expense entry if you frequently deal with a currency other than your organization's home currency.
Locale: Select your timezone to ensure dates and times are displayed correctly in Fyle.
Access delegation: If you'll be unavailable to manage your expenses, you can delegate access to another employee. Choose the delegatee and the duration of access (temporary or permanent). See dedicated Access delegation article for detailed instructions.
