Connecting your corporate cards to Fyle allows for automatic transaction syncing, simplifying expense creation and reconciliation. This article explains how to connect and manage your Visa, Mastercard, and other corporate cards in Fyle.
Supported Cards and Real-Time Feeds
Fyle supports various corporate cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. For Visa and Mastercard, Fyle may offer real-time feeds, which means transactions appear in your Fyle account almost instantly. Real-time feeds are subject to your company's Fyle subscription and card issuer participation. Check with your Fyle administrator for availability.
Connecting Your Corporate Card
1. Access Corporate Card Settings:
Web App: Log in to the Fyle web app and go to Settings (usually accessible through your profile icon or initials). Then, look for a section called "Corporate Cards," "Payment Methods," or similar.
Mobile App: Open the Fyle mobile app, tap the menu icon, and select Settings. Look for "Corporate Cards" or a similar option.
2. Add a Corporate Card: Click or tap "Add Corporate Card" or a similar button.
3. Enter Card Details: Enter your corporate card number and any other requested information (e.g., expiry date, CVV). Carefully review and accept the terms and conditions.
4. Card Verification (if applicable):
Real-Time Feeds (Visa/Mastercard): If your card is eligible for a real-time feed, it might be added automatically after you enter the card details. You may be prompted to verify the card by confirming a recent small transaction amount.
Other Cards/Non-Real-Time Feeds: If your card isn't eligible for a real-time feed, you'll need to select your bank and log in to your online banking portal to authorize Fyle to access your transactions. Fyle uses secure bank-level encryption and does not store your banking credentials.
5. Confirmation: Once your card is connected, you'll see a confirmation message. Transactions will begin syncing to Fyle according to your feed type (real-time or periodic).
Disconnecting a Card
If you no longer use a corporate card, you can disconnect it from Fyle in the corporate card settings.
Troubleshooting
1. Transactions Not Syncing: If your transactions aren't syncing correctly, double-check that your card is properly connected and that your online banking credentials are up-to-date (if applicable). Contact Fyle support if the issue persists.
2. Real-Time Feed Issues: If you're experiencing problems with a real-time feed, ensure your company's Fyle subscription supports this feature and that your card issuer participates in real-time feeds. Contact Fyle support for further assistance.
3. Unable to Connect a Card: If you're unable to connect a specific corporate card, contact your Fyle administrator or Fyle support.
By following these instructions, you can effectively manage your corporate cards within Fyle, simplifying expense tracking and reporting.
