Submitting expense reports is the final step in the expense process. Fyle makes submission easy, whether you're using the web or mobile app. This article guides you through submitting your reports.
Submitting expense reports on the web app
Navigate to reports: Click on Reports in the left sidebar.
Open the report: Select the report you want to submit from the Open tab. This tab contains Draft and Sent Back reports.
Review and edit (optional): Review the expenses included in the report. You can add or remove expenses, edit expense details (if allowed), and add comments.
Submit: Click Submit Report. The report's status will change to Submitted, and it will be routed to your approver.
Submitting expense reports on the mobile app
Navigate to reports: Tap the menu icon and select Reports.
Open the report: Select the report you want to submit from the Draft or Sent Back section.
Review and edit (optional): Review the expenses and tap an expense to edit it (if allowed). You can also add comments.
Submit: Tap Submit Report.
Note:
Policy compliance: Review your organization's expense policies to ensure your report is compliant. Expenses violating policies might be flagged or blocked.
Report accuracy: Double-check all expense details and attached receipts for accuracy before submitting.
Notifications: You'll receive email notifications when the report is approved, sent back, or paid.
