Listing Expenses
You can easily list your Ready to Report expenses from within slack. This can be done in one of the following ways:
1. Using Slash Command:
Use /fyle-list-expenses slash command (type the command and hit enter twice) from any channel or chat to list your Ready to Report expenses.
Your 10 most recent Ready to Report expenses are shown in the app’s chat.
You can quickly see details of those expenses, edit or delete them. If you wish to see more expenses than the ones shown, click on Show More Expenses button at the bottom of the list.
2. Using Global Shortcut:
You can also list the expenses by clicking on the Shortcuts icon and selecting List Expenses.
3. From the app homepage:
You can also list expenses directly from the app’s home page by selecting the List Expenses option from the Select More dropdown.
Editing Expenses
After you’ve listed the expenses, you can edit any of them from within Slack given that they were added also from Slack. Just click on the Edit button.
The expense form will open up. Edit the details and click on Update Expense once done.
Once the expense is updated successfully, you’ll be notified in the app’s chat.
If the expense was not created from slack, then you will not be able to edit the expense on Slack. In that case, click on the Edit on Fyle button shown for that expense. You will be redirected to the web app where you can edit the expense.
Deleting Expenses
After you’ve listed the expenses, you can delete any of them from within Slack. Just click on the Delete button.
You’ll be asked to confirm whether you want to delete. Click on Yes. The expense will be deleted and you’ll be notified in the app’s chat.
