You can create, view, and edit all your expenses via the Fyle mobile app. The app is available to download via App Store and Play Store.
The Expenses section will give you a list of expenses that are in the Incomplete and Unreported state as well as any expenses with policy violations. We will look at The Expenses tab in course of this article.
Once you log in to your Fyle account via the mobile app, click on the Menu button from the top left corner of your screen and select Expenses.
Type of Expenses
On the Expenses page, you will find a list of expenses that are in Incomplete and Unreported states. The Incomplete expenses are indicated with a red pill labeled Incomplete.
The expenses in the Unreported state have details such as Category, Merchant, Amount, etc mentioned to identify the expense.
Expenses that have a policy violation will have a red exclamation symbol on them.
You can view the details of the policy violated by clicking on the expense. Click on View Details next to the policy violation message.
The details of the policy violation will appear at the bottom of your screen.
You can view if a receipt has been added to the expense by the square window on the left of the expense. If the expenses do not have a receipt added, a plus sign will be visible on the window.
In order to edit the expense, you can click on the expense individually and it will redirect you to the expense form for that expense.
Once the details have been filled in click on Save Expense to save your changes.
Filter and Sort Expenses
You can sort the expenses using the Funnel icon on the top right corner of your screen. Select the required filters and click on Save to apply the filters.
If you wish to delete the filters click on Clear All and Save.
You can search for a particular expense by clicking on the Magnifying Glass icon on the top right corner of your screen.
You can search the expense by entering details on the search bar such as a merchant, category, amount, etc.
You can create new expenses using the squared-plus icon on the top right corner of your screen. Once you click on the icon, a list of different types of expenses will appear at the bottom of your screen.
Select your type of expense and you will be redirected to an expense form for the same.
Expenses on the mobile app are quick and easy to capture, create edit, and report. The changes made via the mobile app will automatically sync when you access Fyle through the web app.
